Job Summary
Adjunct English Instructor to teach face to face ENG 105/106 courses at DMACC Boone Campus.
Fall Semester 2026.

Essential Functions
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

Required Qualifications
Masters of English, Literature, or related field or any master’s with 12 graduate semester credits in English or Literature.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications
Teaching experience.

ENG 105: 08/27/2026 – 12/17/2026, Tuesday and Thursday 9:40am – 11:05am.
ENG 106: 08/26/2026 – 12/17/2026, Monday and Wednesday, 9:40am – 10:35am.
