The Derry-Salem Elks is looking for a reliable, hands-on Part-Time Maintenance & Custodial Worker to help keep our Lodge clean, safe, and well maintained.
Schedule
- Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling
- Weekend availability is a must
- Additional hours may be available for snow removal, events, or special projects
Responsibilities
- Routine cleaning of Lodge areas, restrooms, floors, windows, and common spaces
- Trash removal and restocking of cleaning supplies
- Event, meeting, Bingo, and Dart Night setup and cleanup
- Pavilion and outdoor area cleaning
- Lawn care, trimming, and general grounds maintenance
- Snow and ice removal around entrances and walkways
- Light maintenance and repairs, including painting and basic upkeep
- Receive and put away deliveries
- Seasonal and deep-cleaning projects as needed
- Report maintenance or repair concerns to Lodge management
Qualifications
- Cleaning, custodial, landscaping, or maintenance experience preferred
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable with physical work and working indoors and outdoors
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
- Light handyman or maintenance skills are a plus
