About the Role: DermRay is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and organized Radiation Therapist to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis, covering our Dallas, TX clinic. This role is ideal for a therapist looking for flexible, supplemental work in a specialized, patient-focused environment — primarily delivering curative radiation therapy for non-melanoma skin cancer.
We're looking for someone to provide coverage when our local RTTs are out of clinic for PTO and other absences. This position offers a guaranteed minimum of 2 days per quarter, 8 hours per day, with the potential for additional shifts as coverage needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and simulate patient treatments
- Deliver radiation therapy and operate specialized equipment
- Document clinical work accurately and thoroughly
- Prioritize patient satisfaction and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Step in seamlessly to cover clinic operations during planned staff absences
Schedule
As-needed, with a guaranteed minimum of 2 days per quarter (8 hours/day) to cover PTO and other staff absences at our Dallas clinics. Additional shifts may be available based on coverage needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- $90 per hour
Qualifications
- RTT Board Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt quickly to a new clinic environment on short notice
Equipment: Onsite training will be provided for all equipment.
