Experienced Dermatology APP (San Marcos)

San Marcos Dermatology is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our esteemed dermatology team. As a Dermatology PA, you will work closely with our board-certified dermatologists to provide comprehensive skin care services to our diverse patient population. This role offers an exciting opportunity to diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, perform procedures, and contribute to patient education and preventive care.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and treat skin conditions, diseases and disorders.
• Conduct thorough patient consultations and examinations.
• Provide patient education on skincare and disease prevention
• Perform skin biopsies and other minor dermatological procedures.
• Ensure high patient satisfaction through attentive education, follow-ups and post-treatment care.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with our skincare professionals to deliver comprehensive skincare solutions.
• Uphold safety protocols to maintain a sterile environment for clients and staff.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that highlights dermatological services, and medical advancements.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a current, unrestricted Texas license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in dermatology specialty; proven experience in diagnosis and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and composure.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus. ModMed’s EMA is preferred.
