We are a private Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology office, committed to providing the highest quality individualized care to our patients.
Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Closed on weekends.
Our office is conveniently located in downtown Bethesda, one block away from the metro and parking will be provided if needed.
We are looking for a full-time Medical Front Desk Receptionist with Dermatology experience. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks.
Our incredible staff is fully dedicated to providing our patients with the best in Dermatology, Cosmetic Dermatology, and Medical Spa experience. We are looking for quality individuals who are motivated, dependable, and capable of providing excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify personal and insurance information to complete the check-in process. Also ensure accurate and timely patient check-out, including scheduling follow-up appointments and collecting co-pays and other payments when necessary.
- Schedule patient appointments for consultations, follow-up visits, and procedures.
- Manage phone systems to answer calls, schedule appointments, address patient inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, and provides general information about the practice.
- Maintain and update patient files in our electronic medical record (EMR) system - EMA by MODMED, ensuring accurate information for future visits and process patient intake forms, consents, and other necessary documentations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns and providing assistance with scheduling, billing and other administrative tasks.
- Verify insurance coverage for patients, ensuring accurate information is recorded for billing purposes. Register new patients and gather necessary demographic and insurance information.
- Ensure accurate and confidential handling of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment for patients.
- Notifying the office manager when office supplies are needed.
- Assist in other administrative duties as needed.
