Job Description:

Dermatology, Laser & Vein Specialists of the Carolinas has highly-skilled practitioners that offer the full spectrum of care including; general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery & skin cancer, varicose & spider vein treatments, clinical trials, and more. We have offices in Charlotte and Pineville. We are currently looking to bring on a full-time Patients Relations Specialists, Monday-Friday (Fridays are until 1 pm).

Job Summary:

The primary role of the Patient Relations Specialists is to answer the phones and to schedule appointments. On occasion the employee will need to work in different areas of the front office.

Duties to be included:

  • Greet Patients
  • Answer Phones
  • Enter patient demographics
  • Schedule appointments in our system
  • Scan in information into our system
  • Check out Patients
  • Collect co-pays or fees for surgery
  • Documentation in EMR notes for triage
  • Print out medical records to send off
  • Closing out visits
  • Making sure patients are taken care of in waiting areas
  • Miscellaneous tasks as requested
  • OSHA/HIPAA, CPR compliant

Education and Experience:

  • High School or higher level of education
  • Dermatology Experience a PLUS but not required

Work Location:

Charlotte Midtown Center but must be flexible to work in other locations on occasion
