Medical Assistant, Full Time

Busy Dermatology clinic seeking experienced medical assistant. This is a multiple provider clinic where what you do matters. You would work with an excellent team that values the individual and treats you life family. The best candidate would possess a caring attitude and excellent customer service skills. Must enjoy working in a team environment and want to provide excellent patient care along with having the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Basic computer user skills required.
• Comfortable with iPad applications and use
• Completion of a medical assistant course preferred but not required.

As a Medical Assistant, you will perform a variety of duties involved in the facilitation of both the clinical and office operations and perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.

• Responsible for performing patient care activities and related non-professional tasks within the scope of training and competence.
• Scribe using electronic medical records system on iPads and desk top computers.
• Maintains appropriate aseptic technique for preparation, procedures and administration of medications.
• Documents all patient interactions in patient record accurately and legibly.
• Enjoys working at the top of their scope and truly partnering with patients, providers and the extended care team.
• Values team work, problem solving, engagement and adaptability.
• Embraces change and practices direct communication.

Full Time: Monday through Friday (Friday is a half day).
