Licensed Practical Nurse

Dermatology at the Lakes|Detroit Lakes, MN

Dermatology at the Lakes is locally owned, physician-led dermatology clinic providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology services to patients across northern Minnesota and parts of North Dakota.

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team full-time. This role supports providers with both clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Schedule

Day shifts only

• Tuesday-Friday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
• No nights
• No weekends
• No holidays
• Closed Mondays
• 3 day weekends

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and obtaining medical histories
• Assist providers with procedures (biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery, cosmetic treatments)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments
• Document in EMR (EZDERM experience a plus)
• Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
• Assist with prior authorizations, scheduling, and patient callbacks
• Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies

Qualifications

For Medical Assistant (MA):

• Certification required
• Previous healthcare experience preferred

For Licensed Practical Nurse

• Active Minnesota LPN license
• Clinical experience preferred (dermatology a plus)
