We are seeking a full-time Dermatology Patient Services Representative to join our growing practice. Whether you have previous experience as a medical receptionist, patient services representative, or medical front office specialist, or you're eager to begin a career in healthcare, we provide comprehensive training for individuals with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Duties
- Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and respect.
- Answer and manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system.
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
- Check patients in and out while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
- Verify insurance eligibility, obtain authorizations when needed, and assist with insurance-related questions.
- Collect copays, deductibles, balances, and process patient payments.
- Maintain accurate patient records using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow.
- Maintain accurate documentation while protecting patient confidentiality.
- Keep the front office clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while representing the practice's core values.
Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment.
- Comfortable using computers and learning electronic medical record (EMR) software.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
- Previous experience in a medical office, dermatology practice, medical reception, patient scheduling, insurance verification, or customer service is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate.

- Initial training will be completed at our Panama City, FL office.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Reliable transportation is required.
