Join a fast-paced, team-oriented dermatology clinic where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking a Clinical Assistant—open to Certified Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Registered Nurses (RN)—to support providers and patients throughout the care process.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on clinical work, patient interaction, and care coordination in a dynamic outpatient setting.
What You’ll Do
- Room patients and obtain/document medical history in the EMR
- Assist providers during exams and dermatologic procedures
- Prepare and handle lab specimens
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Document pathology results and coordinate next steps
- Schedule appointments and treatments
- Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies
- Communicate with patients via phone and patient portal
- Support documentation, including scribing when needed
- Participate in team training and staff meetings
What We’re Looking For
We are open to candidates with any of the following backgrounds:
- Medical Assistant (no specific certification required)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Michigan license required
- Registered Nurse (RN) – Michigan license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and organization
- Team-oriented mindset
Preferred (Not Required)
- Dermatology experience
- Experience working in an outpatient or specialty clinic
- Familiarity with EMR systems
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
