PRE-MED/PRE-PA GAP YEAR MEDICAL ASSISTANT/RECENT GRADS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY

We are seeking a bright new or experienced medical assistant to assist with Dermatology office visits and procedures as well as to assist with Mohs surgical procedures. We have a very dynamic team and employ a number of bright pre MD, pre PA and pre RN college graduates who are working with our team to gain professional experience. We are looking for bright, hard working medical assistants who have excellent interpersonal communication skills to join our team. This position provides training in dermatologic terminology, medical scribing, assisting in sterile procedures as well as hands on training patient care of surgical patients (including patient positioning, bandaging, surgical assisting and pre and post operative assessment of patients). Given the training involved in learning the roles of a medical assistant, we require a 1 year commitment to our team

We have a wonderful team and are looking for individuals with excellent people skills who enjoy interacting with patients and team members in a clinical setting. We are happy to provide in person training as well as certification through the online dermatology technician certification program.

In this role we currently have a diversity of team members who are professional nurses (RN/LPN), medical assistants and pre-MD, pre-PA, pre-RN recent college graduates and we are looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds to join our team

We also are happy to provide training in Mohs histology frozen sections through a national consulting firm and with successful completion of this training, medical assistants receive certification through NSH
