Dermatology and Mohs Surgery practice in Hyannis MA is recruiting a medical billing and coding specialist to join our dynamic team
Roles:
- ICD-10 coding and charge entry, claim follow-up with insurance and patients and appealing claim denials from insurers
- performing insurance verification and obtaining and following up on insurance referrals
- Charge entry and follow-up utilizing Athena health as our practice management and EMR software
Professional development:
We are happy to provide hands on training in dermatology coding and to provide sponsorship for becoming an AAPC certified dermatology coder as well as attendance at billing and coding and dermatoloyg national conferences
Hybrid remote option:
We are happy to discuss a hybrid remote option for this position after the first period of training which would be full time in office for 6-12 months (depending upon experience and training)

Salary $27-38/hr
