What You'll Do
As a Dermalogica Instructor, you deliver expert-led, personalized education that brings our brand to life and drives success for professional skin therapists, retail and business professionals, and future professionals in undergraduate programs. You are part of a national education team committed to excellence, innovation, and meaningful learning experiences that support business growth and elevate the industry.
Territory: Kansas City area, Iowa, Kansas & Missouri
Key Responsibilities:
- In this role, you contribute to both individual execution and team impact by:
- Facilitating education independently across various formats, including in-person sessions, in-field experiences, and virtual learning platforms, while maintaining alignment with national standards and regional strategy
- Collaborating with your local Business Consultant to align education with account goals, growth opportunities, and market priorities
- Maintaining strong working relationships with instructors, education leaders, and business consultants across the country
- Maintaining current and in-depth knowledge of Dermalogica’s products, treatments, technologies, and brand concepts
- Providing professional skin treatments to support prospective accounts, press, influencers, and brand activations
- Representing the brand with professionalism and authenticity in every education setting
- Managing your schedule, maintaining accurate calendars, and time is utilized effectively and ensuring clear communication with both education and business teams
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with professional skin therapists, retail and business professionals, and future professionals. These relationships should reflect Dermalogica’s values of education, expertise, and human connection
- Leading education delivery in your assigned market, which may include working from a Learning Loft location or as a field-based instructor depending on business needs

- You are valued for your voice, your professionalism, and the impact you make in every classroom, treatment space, and interaction
Key Qualifications:
- Missouri Esthetician license required
- Two (2) plus years of hands-on spa/skincare experience required
- Regular travel is a major component of this position (including some overnight/weekend travel)
- Ability to support a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and evenings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Experience with Dermalogica products and concepts is a plus!
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Organized, reliable, and solution-oriented
- Collaborative mindset with a positive, professional demeanor
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or reach for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
- Visual and manual dexterity required for treatments and education delivery
- Ability to travel by car and airplane as required
