Program Overview
The Finance Rotational Program is designed to attract and develop high-potential MBA graduates and early career professionals with a strong interest in corporate finance, energy, and infrastructure. This program provides hands-on experience across multiple finance functions through structured rotations, offering exposure to real business challenges, senior leadership, and strategic decision-making.
Participants will complete three to four rotations over 12–18 months, gaining broad exposure to how finance operates across a complex, fast-paced organization.
Participants will rotate through a mix of the following areas:
Location: Charlotte, NC, onsite, potential exposure to field operations
Program Duration: 12–18 months
Rotation Structure: 3–4 rotations (approximately 4 months each)
Mentorship: Each participant is paired with a finance leader/program sponsor

- While participants will be considered for full-time opportunities, placement into a permanent role at the conclusion of the program is not guaranteed.
- Duration: 12–18 months
- Rotations: 3–4 rotations (approximately 4 months each)
- Location: Charlotte-based with potential exposure to field operations
- Mentorship: Each participant is paired with a finance leader and program sponsor
- Capstone: Final project presentation to senior leadership
Participants will rotate through a mix of the following areas:
- Capital Markets / Treasury
- Asset Management (Wind, Solar, BESS)
- Corporate Finance / Strategy
- Development Finance / Project Finance
- Underwriting
- Tax
- Treasury
- Support financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Analyze business performance and provide insights to leaders
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements
- Partner cross-functionally with teams across Finance, Operations, and Development
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership
- Participate in structured learning, networking, and development sessions

Qualifications
Required/Basic:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced degree, MBA, Master’s in Accounting or Finance)
- Progress toward CPA, CFA, or similar certification (or interest in pursuing)
- Experience with or exposure to financial systems (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
- Foundational understanding of accounting and/or financial principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- MBA (completed or graduated within the last 12 months) or early career professional with relevant experience
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Demonstrated interest in energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Broad exposure to multiple finance disciplines
- Visibility to senior leadership and strategic initiatives
- Accelerated learning and skill development
- Real-world experience contributing to high-impact business decisions
- This program is a developmental rotational experience, not a traditional internship
- Participants are hired as full-time employees for the duration of the program
- Permanent placement is not guaranteed; however, high performers may be considered for available roles at the end of the program
- Flexibility and openness to different rotation assignments is expected
