Title: High Speed Stamping Operator
Job Summary:
A High Speed Stamping Operator is responsible for operating various presses, assembling, soldering, hand setting, inspecting, sorting and various other types of bench work as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate various presses to produce quality parts as required.
- Perform numerous assembling and bench operations as required.
- Performs PDQ inspections.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Inspects and sorts parts as required.
- Assists in other departments as time permits.
- Operates auxiliary equipment as needed.
- Maintain lot and scrap control
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to perform basic assembly functions containing small parts.
- Experienced in use of measuring and magnification equipment.
- Must be able to work well with tweezers.
- Able to work in a team atmosphere.
- Practices good housekeeping.
Education and Experience:
- Accustomed to working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in working with measuring and magnification equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
