ALUMINUM WELDER & FABRICATOR
Derecktor is looking for an experienced aluminum welder and fabricator with shipyard experience. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and enjoys working on a team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Candidates must be able to perform - SMAW/Stick, FCAW/Flux Core, GMAW/Aluminum and TIG.
Additionally, welder will be involved in the repair, modification, and assembly of various types of metal.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ALUMINUM WELDING
Pass an internal welding test
Be skilled in the fabrication and repair of equipment, fixtures and structures
Ability to read and understand drawings and weld symbols
High attention to details
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must pass a drug test and background check
Tool/equipment operation knowledge
Preferred - Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment
Preferred - OSHA Safety Training
*Range $25-$38 DOE
