Duties
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Prepare outgoing shipments by labeling orders accurately in accordance with shipping logistics requirements
- Operate pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries, ensuring compliance with regulation standards
- Ensure accuracy across warehouse points
- Support packaging processes for orders, ensuring products are securely packed for shipment and protected during transit
- Prepare documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments
- Follow operational procedures to optimize workflow efficiency while adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Prior experience working in shipping & receiving operations
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics including
- Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and calculations related to shipping weights or dimensions
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy
- Customer service mindset to support internal teams and external carriers effectively while maintaining professionalism in fast-paced environments.
Hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
