Duties
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medication as directed
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment for pets
- Monitor animals’ behavior and health, alerting veterinary professionals to any concerns or signs of distress
- Support pet owners through friendly communication and updates on their pets’ well-being during their stay
Skills
- Experience with dog handling to ensure safe interactions with animals of all temperaments
- Knowledge of pet sitting duties, including feeding schedules and activity routines
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and visitors
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning supplies or animal transportation
