Private Property Account Manager – Business Development

Derby Towing LLC is looking for a motivated and professional Private Property Account Manager to help grow and manage our private property towing accounts throughout the Louisville area.

This is a field-based position focused on developing long-term relationships with apartment communities, property management companies, shopping centers, businesses, HOAs, and other commercial properties.

The Account Manager will be responsible for identifying potential properties, meeting with property managers and owners, presenting Derby Towing’s private property towing services, setting up new accounts, and maintaining relationships with those properties after activation.

Responsibilities include:

• Visit prospective properties and meet with property managers, owners, and other decision-makers

• Perform basic property and parking assessments to identify parking enforcement needs

• Present Derby Towing’s Private Property Impound (PPI) services

• Develop new property accounts and assist with completing towing agreements

• Coordinate account setup, signage, property rules, and authorized towing procedures

• Maintain regular communication with existing accounts

• Serve as the primary contact for property managers regarding towing and parking concerns

• Follow up with prospective accounts and maintain organized records of contacts and leads

• Build relationships with property management companies to develop additional locations

• Work closely with Derby Towing management and dispatch to ensure accounts receive dependable service

Vehicle & Phone Requirements:

This is a field-based position. The Account Manager will be required to use their own reliable vehicle and personal cell phone while performing job duties. Derby Towing LLC will provide a fuel allowance to help cover business-related driving expenses.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a working smartphone.

We are looking for someone who is professional, confident speaking with business owners and property managers, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in the field.

Previous experience in account management, property management, apartment leasing, outside sales, or business development is preferred but not required.

Compensation: Base pay plus performance incentives, including $75 for each new property account successfully contracted and activated, along with a fuel allowance for business-related travel.
