Experienced CDL Truck Driver (3rd Shift):
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and experienced CDL Truck Driver to join our team. Class A CDL Shift Information:
● 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
● Weekend overtime opportunities available
Class A CDL Key Responsibilities:
● Safely operate a yard dog (yard jockey) truck to move trailers throughout the facility.
● Transport trailers and equipment while following all company policies, DOT regulations,
and traffic laws.
● Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is safe
and in proper working condition.
● Report any mechanical issues, safety concerns, or equipment damage promptly.
● Maintain accurate records of trailer movements, deliveries, pickup times, and required
documentation.
● Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, customers, and fellow team
members.
● Assist with minor vehicle inspections and basic maintenance as needed.
● Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety procedures.
● Perform additional duties as assigned.
Class A CDL Qualifications:
● Minimum 1 year of commercial truck driving experience required.
● Previous experience operating yard dog/yard jockey trucks is preferred.
● Experience hauling or maneuvering van trailers required.
● Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
● Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety.
● Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy equipment or materials when necessary.
● Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
● Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
