Derby Dinner Playhouse is hiring a Line Cook for buffet and event service in Clarksville, IN. Evening and weekend shifts required. Pay: $14–$16/hour.

- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items (fried, grilled, hot buffet) to quality standards
- Set up, stock, monitor, and refresh buffet/service lines during events
- Pre-prep ingredients, portion, and store supplies using FIFO and safety guidelines
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety regulations (ServSafe)
- Work efficiently during peak service; assist with inventory, receiving, and basic equipment care
- Transport prepared food from the kitchen to the buffet line safely and efficiently.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the buffet line before and after each show
- Monitor food levels during service and restock dishes as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, service areas, and buffet line
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth and timely service
- Assist with basic prep work, dishwashing, or other back-of-house tasks as needed
