Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, ensuring they feel valued and attended to throughout their visit.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during nightclubs or events like banquets and catering functions.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
- Follow all food safety protocols and responsible serving practices to uphold health standards across all hospitality settings.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclub environments, or banquet settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
- Demonstrated ability in sales techniques to upsell drinks or promote specials effectively.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without compromising quality or service speed.
- Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and responsible alcohol serving is required.
- Knowledge of retail math for cash handling accuracy and basic math skills for quick calculations.
