What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at DeQuincy Memorial Hospital?
The Dietary Aide will assist with the preparation of food for hospital patients, employees, and visitors; assures the delivery of food appropriately. Maintains floor stock and nourishment supplies, sanitizes dishes, pots, and pans. Maintains the kitchen/dining areas in a clean and safe condition. Will properly store deliveries of food and supplies weekly. Removal of trash daily from the kitchen/dining areas. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
