Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nephrologist at the DEPT OF VA MEDICAL CENTER-MARTINSBURG, located in Martinsburg, WV. The Nephrologist will provide expert care to patients with kidney-related conditions, including the management of chronic kidney diseases, and consultations for transplant evaluations. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating nephrology disorder , updating patient records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Training in
- Medicine and Nephrology, with the ability to diagnose and treat a range of kidney-related illnesses.
- Familiarity with the process and evaluations required for kidney Transplant patients
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Nephrology, with a medical degree from an accredited program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse patient populations and medical staff
- Licensure to practice medicine in the United States
- Relevant experience in nephrology or related subspecialties is preferred
