Job Description
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
Assist with oversight of the outreach unit including the supervision of three Outreach Associates focused on providers in 2 Care communities.
Develop relationships and outreach strategies with childcare providers, health care and medical providers, community organizations, early childhood and disability organizations, other City agencies and others to identify outreach opportunities and disseminate information about developmental screening, 2 Care and EI.
Attend monthly meetings organized by community partnerships and networks to foster a sustained presence in the community
Produce reports on outreach activities as requested by leadership.
Coordinate Outreach Events including BEI volunteers for evening/weekend events and for specific language requests. Assist with the collection and reporting of data for Outreach Events
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of early childhood development, ages birth to three years
- Knowledge of the NYC Early Intervention Program, its policies and procedures and of the NYC EI service landscape
- Outstanding verbal communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Experienced with PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel

Minimum Qualifications
Qualification Requirements
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Engineering, or Social Sciences, Health Care Specialization, Physical Sciences or related programs; and
A minimum of four years of progressive, responsible, experience related to Health Care Program Planning, Research, Design, Operation, Evaluation and Analysis; or
2. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public or Hospital Administration, Health Care Specialization, Business Administration or related disciplines; and
A minimum of three years progressive, responsible, experience directly related to health care program planning, research, design, operation, evaluation and analysis; or
3. A satisfactory equivalent combination or training, education and experience; and
4. Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication.
