The
General Manager
is responsible for the management of the facility in El Paso, TX, productivity, high level P&L and creating a highly safe and desirable work environment. Strong motivation to grow the business and support change within the DCI culture is a must.
Responsibilities
- Manage shop productivity and KPI's.
- Ensure effective Union employee relations and positive morale through communication, coaching and personnel development while resolving employee issues fairly and effectively within the guidelines of company policy.
- Improve work standards and meet all objectives for housekeeping, quality, productivity and cost by continuous employee guidance and development.
- Understand and comply with all safety requirements at all times, work safely every day and encourage all team members to do the same.
- High level P&L management
- Build relationships with customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates Degree or combination of education and experience in a related field.
- 7-10 years' experience in a truck shop environment preferred.
- Parts and general mechanical knowledge preferred.
- Comfortable managing P&L and KPIs.
- Proven development of high performance teams.
- Commitment to an extreme safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.
- Proficient in problem analysis, problem solving and successful resolution.
- Customer focused with strong ability to build rapport with customers.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
