Position: Teacher Aide (10 month)
Location: Depew Middle School
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:15am -2:45pm
Type of Appointment: Full-Time
Start Date: Sept 2 2026
Salary: 19.75 per hour
Job Description:
- Assist students transition throughout the building
- Assist with monitoring student reading instruction
- Meet with students the foyer before and after school at Middle School
- Monitoring students for toileting needs
- Assistance with toileting as needed
- Assist classroom teacher with additional tasks as requested
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to establish good relationships and get along with children, maintain
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administration and staff.
- Good power of observation and dependability
- Prior experience caring for students with disabilities
- Understanding and respect for confidentiality
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency
- Four (4) years experience in the care and supervision of children; OR
- An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (1) and (2).
