Reefer Freight | Consistent Southern & Central Lanes
A Dependable Transports is currently hiring Class A CDL drivers based in or around New Orleans, Louisiana. This position is ideal for drivers looking for steady miles, predictable routes, and reliable home time, while staying primarily within the South Central and Southeastern states.
Whether you’re an experienced driver or a newer CDL holder ready to get started the right way, this opportunity offers structure, support, and consistency.
Pay & Miles
Route & Freight Details
Reefer freight (temperature-controlled consumer goods)
No-touch freight
Pickups primarily originate in Louisiana and surrounding states
Running lanes across LA, TX, MS, AR, AL, GA, FL, TN, NC, SC, and nearby central states
1–3 loads per day, averaging 300–500 miles daily
Dedicated customer freight with predictable flow
New Drivers Welcome
3 months of experience preferred, but new drivers are encouraged to apply
Paid 3–4 week mentor program for drivers with limited or no experience
Weekly training pay while with a trainer
After training, drivers move to solo status, CPM pay, and their own assigned tractor

- Average weekly pay: $1,250 (top earners make more based on miles and performance)
- CPM pay based on verified experience
- 2,000–2,400 miles weekly on average
- Weekly pay (W-2 position, direct deposit available)
- Home weekly for full resets
- Consistent scheduling so you can plan your personal time
- Routes designed to keep drivers moving without extended time away from home
