Position Overview
Dependable Stamping is seeking a reliable and motivated Press Operator / Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This is a core role in our facility where you will be responsible for operating basic machinery—mainly a single-hit stamping punch press and spot welding equipment—alongside handling general production tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Machinery Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a single-hit stamping punch press and spot welding equipment according to production guidelines.
- General Labor & Production Support: Assist in daily production processes, including parts cleaning, stacking, and organizing materials.
- Finishing Work: Perform deburring and metal finishing to ensure completed parts meet quality standards.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation; adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment is preferred, but not required.
- Technical Skills: Experience running single-hit punch presses for metal applications or operating spot welding machinery is a major plus.
- Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new machinery and processes.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move materials, and perform repetitive manual tasks.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
