This growth means even more opportunities for our team and continued stability for our employees. As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a Dispatcher to join our growing team!
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. will include some weeknights, some weekends, and some holidays.
Position Summary: The Dispatcher is responsible for efficiently scheduling and dispatching Service Technicians for service calls, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring a high level of customer service and operational efficiency. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills to coordinate between customers and technicians.
Essential Functions:
• Schedule, coordinate, and dispatch technicians efficiently for service calls and maintenance appointments
• Maintain and manage the daily dispatch board, technician schedules, and technicians on-call rotation
• Partner with the Install Coordinator to schedule, manage, and execute upcoming installation jobs
• Communicate schedule updates, delays, and priority changes in real time.
• Answer incoming customer calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Communicate job details, updates, and follow-up information with technicians and customers
• Monitor pending work, parts status, and customer follow-ups to ensure timely completion of services
• Maintain accurate customer accounts, service records, invoices, and database information
• Process service-related paperwork, including warranties, work orders, proposals, and billing documentation
• Coordinate with warehouse, accounting, and management teams to support daily operations
• Perform customer satisfaction follow-up calls and assist in resolving customer concerns
• Forecast workload and support operational efficiency through proactive scheduling and coordination
• Promote a positive company image through exceptional customer service and communication
• Assist with inbound calls and provide support to office staff as needed
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or a related field preferred
• Strong customer service and professional phone etiquette skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
• Proficient computer and data entry skills, including experience with multi-line phone systems
• Geographical knowledge of the service area and/or map reading skill preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC and/or Plumbing industry terminology and practices is a plus
• Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently
• Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and a team-oriented attitude
