Position Summary
The Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Professional (CHESP) serves as the on-site leader for the janitorial services contract at the Salisbury VAMC. The CHESP supervises and trains all contracted environmental services personnel and develops, implements, and evaluates the environmental sanitation procedures necessary to ensure full compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), CDC and EPA guidance, Joint Commission standards, and VA infection prevention and control direction. In the absence of the Contractor, the CHESP acts as the Contractor Representative with full authority to act on all matters relating to the daily operations of the contract.
On site and available anytime contractor employees are working. Shift coverage: 1st (7:00 AM–3:30 PM), 2nd (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), 3rd (10:30 PM–7:00 AM
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
