We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-to-one nursing care for a pediatric patient in the Oceanside area. This role begins part-time with a defined path to full-time hours. Active base access (or eligibility to obtain base access for Camp Pendleton) is required.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-to-one nursing care for a pediatric patient in the Oceanside area. This role begins part-time with a defined path to full-time hours. Active base access (or eligibility to obtain base access for Camp Pendleton) is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, one-to-one nursing care to a pediatric patient per the physician-ordered plan of care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition
- Operate and monitor medical equipment as needed (e.g., feeding pumps, suction, oxygen)
- Communicate effectively with the family, care team, and supervising RN
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards
- Schedule: Part-time initially, with transition to full-time based on patient needs and performance
- Shifts: Days M-F
- Current, active California LVN license in good standing
- Base access for Camp Pendleton
- Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Prior pediatric or private duty nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills
- Experience with pediatric private duty / one-to-one care
- Familiarity with pediatric medical equipment g-tube
