Requirements include:
- A current Registered Nursing license for the State of Rhode Island
- Prior clinical experience, preferably in home care with a working knowledge of OASIS
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines a plus
- The ability to work independently to both assess and treat clients in home settings
- To educate the client, their families and their designated loved ones
- To communicate effectively with physicians, case managers and other professionals to coordinate care and offer reports as required
- Basic computer skills
- Current vaccinations as required by governmental agencies
- Other documents as required
Responsibilities include:
- Perform tasks as assigned
- Developing patient plan of care
- Supervising certified nursing assistant
- Managing patient care and communicating with physicians
