Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service & Installation Manager to lead our HVAC, heating oil, and propane service operations. This individual will oversee daily service and installation activities, manage field technicians, ensure customer satisfaction, maintain safety and compliance standards, and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge of residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and fuel systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily scheduling of service and installation technicians.
- Oversee HVAC, heating oil, propane, and related mechanical system installations and repairs.
- Ensure all service and installation work meets company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.
- Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to service and installation personnel.
- Monitor technician productivity, performance, and customer service metrics.
- Assist with troubleshooting complex service issues and customer concerns.
- Coordinate inventory, equipment, and material requirements with purchasing and warehouse personnel.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and customer retention.
