Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Painter to help paint the inside of a warehouse located in Montebello. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential painting. The Commercial Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint.
Pay rate: $18.00 D.O.E
Shift Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm (Must be open to overtime)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as caulking, plastering, and drywall repair as needed.
- Execute restoration projects including refinishing woodwork and repairing stucco surfaces.
- Experience with Ariel lift needed since the use of ariel lift will be a key aspect when painting
Skills
- Proficiency in commercial painting techniques and practices.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Understanding of industrial painting methods for specialized projects.
