What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Dependable Courier?
Our growing Logistics company is currently looking for energetic Delivery Drivers to join our delivery team. Come be part of history as we assist our customer Amazon with their deliveries. Dependable Courier is the fastest growing courier and express company in Indianapolis area. We provide paid training. Our start time is 11:30 am. The shifts are 10 hours. We are looking for delivery associates to join our team for our increase in routes. Friday and Saturday are required. Schedule varies from 2-4 shifts a week.
Main Delivery Driver Responsibilities and Duties:
- Inspect your vehicle
- Load and verify freight
- Maintain safe driving habits on the road
- Follow all delivery procedures
- Maintain communications with Dispatch
- Deliver all packages assigned to you
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
- Must be able to enter and exit the cargo van 200 times every day
Full time driver associates are offered a Vision and Dental plan as well as an ICHRA health plan after the first 30 days of full time work.
Paid time off starts accruing immediately.
