🔧 What You’ll Do:
- As a Heavy-Duty Truck Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of heavy-duty trucks and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and computerized systems.
- Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and electrical concerns.
- Perform quality repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify problems.
- Maintain accurate service and repair documentation.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
- Work as part of a team to keep customer vehicles operating safely and reliably.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Minimum 1 year of heavy-duty truck or related automotive repair experience.
- Valid New York State Driver’s License and Clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety minded.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CDL and ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications.
- Additional manufacturer or industry-specific training.
- Experience with diesel engines, heavy-duty electrical systems, and advanced diagnostics.
