Duties/Pay
- $8.5/HR plus daily cash tips. Combined hourly & tips equates to $20 - $23 per hour.
- Safely transport food from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
- Assist servers with bussing duties, including removing used dishes and utensils promptly.
- Support food safety protocols by handling dishes and utensils with proper hygiene practices.
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, floors, and dining areas through regular cleaning and organization.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely food delivery and table turnover.
- Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes of supplies, or cleaning equipment following safe lifting practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper cleaning procedures.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar for order accuracy when needed.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and lifting.
