About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, goal-driven Sales Consultant to join our growing outside sales team. This is a field-based position that involves regular travel throughout an assigned territory in the Erie County & Surrounding Areas, New York State.
As a Sales Consultant, you’ll be fully trained to represent our portfolio of premium salon brands and services. You’ll be responsible for managing and growing a profitable territory, forging strong relationships with salon professionals, and becoming a trusted partner in their success.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow existing client accounts while actively prospecting for new business
- Present and sell a range of salon-exclusive hair and beauty products
- Introduce promotional programs, education opportunities, and brand initiatives
- Maintain a consistent field presence with weekly salon visits in your territory
- Attend mandatory, in-person sales meeting in Fair Lawn, NJ
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
- Utilize company-provided tools (CRM, training, support) to maximize productivity
What We’re Looking For
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for sales and beauty
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals (beauty industry experience is a plus, but not require)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust-based relationships with clients
- Willingness to travel regulary within your assigned territory
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Laptop, iPad or tablet with email access and Microsoft Office
- Basic computer skills
