Specialized Experience for GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes maintaining accountability over property records in accordance with established supply management regulations; executing procurement functions through the creation of purchase requests and/or the Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, researching supply management requirements to provide operational support and independently interpreting procurement materials to ensure technical compliance.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in electrical or electronic engineering, mathematics, physics, public utilities, statistics, computer science, telecommunications management, information systems management, business administration, industrial management, or other fields related to the position to be filled.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).

- Analyze documentation procedures and techniques with respect to cost, effects, and efficiency.
- Prepares documentation to support contract provisions.
- Monitor expenditure accounts to prevent over-obligation of funds.
- Provide orientation on bus safety and operations.
- Coordinate appropriate transportation for students with special needs.
- Investigate incidents of student misbehavior.
- Manage policy procedures relative to the organizations transportation program.
- Compile student statistical data for forecasting transportation requirements.
Conditions of employment
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.

- One year probationary period may be required.
- Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
