Auditing GS-0511 Position Overview American taxpayers entrust billions of dollars each year to the Department of the Interior. Financial management experts of all types help DOI meet its mission in the most efficient and fiscally responsible way possible, enabling DOI to accomplish the many tasks necessary to manage and protect the public lands of our vast nation. This position is represented at the following bureaus Bureau of Reclamation Bureau of Reclamation Bureau of Trust Funds Administration Logo Bureau of Trust Funds Administration Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement Department of the Interior Office of the Secretary Candidate Description The ideal candidate can work effectively as part of a team, applying his/her knowledge of accounting and auditing to support varied resource management activities and operations. Effective analytical, writing and systems skills are necessary. Work Environment Mostly indoors, in an office setting.
