Under the direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II (IT Supv II), Assistant Business Manager, the Information Technology Specialist I (IT Spec I), Regional Business Analyst, supports stakeholder engagement and strategic initiatives for the California Department of Technology’s (CDT) Middle-Mile Broadband Initiative (MMBI). The IT Spec I will (1) collect data on the ongoing needs, available resources and existing initiatives; (2) convene stakeholders; and (3) support research and analyze data obtained from stakeholder meetings and other sources.
Telework
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule within California based on departmental policy and operational needs. The telework policy is subject to change depending on business needs, and/or reporting to the work site may be required with minimal notification given.
Visa Sponsorship

Working Conditions
- Must be able to work under pressure within tight timeframes.
- Must be willing to travel to various locations within Sacramento area and the state as needed.
