Department Information
The Contracts and Procurement Services Branch is dedicated to providing contracts services to all departmental organizations and the California Health and Human Services Agency. The Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) Specialist's primary role is to serve as the subject matter expert related to internal process improvement and administering training for the programs within the Department.

1. Describe your experience and knowledge in conducting training needs assessments, developing training programs, creating training materials, and delivering training. Please include your experience in development and delivery of both technical and soft-skill trainings.

Experience working in a team environment, as a coach, mentor, and in a leadership capacity
Knowledge and understanding or willingness and ability to learn CDSS organization, business program areas, technology architecture, and processes
Strong working knowledge and experience in business process improvement and project management technical skills (Business Process Management and Continuous Improvement methodology, Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile)
Experience gathering, identifying, and analyzing business, functional, and technical system requirements
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, Visio, and SharePoint, and data visualization tools
