Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES: WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Home Study Release Program Specialist, you will:
- Assist in the design, development, implementation, and coordination of policies, procedures, and objectives for Home Study Post Release Services (HSPRS) programs and related activities within the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
- Conduct monitoring and oversight activities for assigned HSPRS providers.
- Evaluate provider performance on a quantitative and qualitative basis to determine whether services are being delivered in accordance with established requirements and child welfare principles.
- Participate in establishing goals, objectives, and implementation plans for assigned program activities and supporting the roll-out of new or revised procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
