Responsibilities
- Operate mowers and power tools to cut grass and maintain turf areas efficiently and safely.
- Use hand tools and landscaping equipment to perform detailed trimming, edging, and pruning of trees and shrubs.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as aeration, overseeding, fertilization, and irrigation system adjustments.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment including cleaning, fueling, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Support tree care activities like trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety.
- Collaborate with team members on hardscape projects such as installing or repairing pathways, patios, or retaining walls.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating lawn care machinery and power tools.
- Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening practices.
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree trimming, irrigation systems, and horticulture principles.
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of snow plowing procedures and safety protocols during winter operations.
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment in outdoor environments.
- Excellent physical stamina for prolonged outdoor activity and manual labor tasks.
