What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Sign Installer position at DeNyse Companies?
Job Summary:
Works with Lead Installer to assist with installation of all types of signs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
· Review installation order, drawings, map, and directions to site to ensure location and instructions match
· Load materials, signs, tool, and hardware onto truck for install process
· Fill up truck with gasoline and monitor distance travelled
· Travel to site for install, noting departure and arrival times
· Assist with installation of signage using basic hand tools
· Clean, repair, and repaint damaged or defective signs
· Remove and properly dispose of existing signage
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Able to operate a forklift
· Basic hand tools, use of tape measure, comfortable with heights, communication skills
Education & Experience:
· Sign or construction experience. Some electrical knowledge
· High School Diploma or GED; some vocational or technical school
· At least 1 year of experience in a related field
Required Licenses/Certifications:
· Forklift certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
