Painter, 2nd shift

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter, 2nd shift, to join our manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality production finishes by applying powder paint with precision and expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, operating spray guns, and ensuring all painting tasks meet rigorous quality standards. NOTE: We are also seeking 1st shift Assembly workers at $17.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder paint to parts
• Properly use respiratory protection provided
• Ensure adequate and complete coverage of all surfaces
• Clean and maintain paint booth, paint spray guns, and powder paint supply system

Skills/requirements of the position:

• Prior work experience in spray paint application (either wet paint or powder) in a manufacturing setting
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to read and accurately compare and match part numbers
• Should be dependable
• Prior experience or ability to be trained in powered lift truck operation
• Ability to work collaboratively with others on common tasks

Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
