What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Department position at Denyo Manufacturing Corporation?
Primary responsibilities:
- Correctly identify and distinguish between similar metal parts
- Inspect sheet metal parts
- Operate pneumatic hand sander to clean metal parts
- Properly hang parts on hook conveyor for washing and painting
- Remove parts from hook conveyor after washing and/or painting and curing
- Properly stack painted parts for movement to Assembly line
Skills/requirements of the position:
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to read and accurately compare and match part numbers
- Ability to lift and reach parts to/from overhead hook conveyor
- Prior experience or ability to be trained in powered lift truck operation
- Ability to work collaboratively with others on common tasks
- Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
- Prior work experience in powder paint application in a manufacturing setting (preferred)
