Location: Colorado (Remote with frequent travel to Colorado courts)

Denver Traffic Lawyer, LLC is seeking a motivated Colorado attorney to join our growing practice. This position focuses exclusively on traffic matters, including civil traffic infractions, misdemeanor traffic offenses, and related county and municipal court cases throughout Colorado.
This role offers significant courtroom experience, professional development, and the opportunity to grow with our firm over the long term. We're looking for an attorney who is organized, dependable, and comfortable managing a high-volume caseload, regularly appearing in court (both in person and virtually), negotiating with prosecutors, and maintaining excellent communication with clients, court personnel, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Represent criminal defendants in traffic matters in designated Colorado county and municipal courts throughout the state.
- Conduct court appearances, including advisements, pretrial conferences, pretrial readiness, motion hearings, bond returns, and trials.
- Negotiate resolutions with prosecutors and court personnel.
- Review discovery, client documents, and case materials.
- Advise clients regarding case strategy and potential outcomes by phone and email.
- Maintain accurate case notes, file complex pleadings, and monitor the status of client requirements and mitigation efforts.
- Work closely with our support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Respond to client communications in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
Required
- Active Colorado law license in good standing.
- 0-2 years of legal experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to courts throughout Colorado.
- Strong client relations, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage deadlines, a high-volume caseload, and prioritize duties effectively.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Reliable internet, phone service, and office equipment to support administrative responsibilities and virtual court appearances.
Preferred
- Experience handling Colorado traffic law matters.
- Experience appearing in Colorado county or municipal courts.
- Criminal defense or litigation experience.
- Prior courtroom experience.
