What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reading Interventionist position at Denver Test Prep?
Denver Test Prep (www.denvertestprep.com) is currently hiring a part-time reading specialist to work with students who have been diagnosed with dyslexia and other reading-related learning differences, using Orton-Gillingham or another structured literacy approach. Tutoring sessions are typically held in the homes of our students, at their schools, or at local libraries in the Denver/Boulder area.
DTP tutors should be available for tutoring three to four days a week, with a minimum of 5 hours per week.
COMPENSATION
$75 – $95 for each 90-minute tutoring session
The starting rate of pay is $50/hour for tutoring, plus an additional $20/hour for time spent driving to and from tutoring sessions.
Salary : $50 - $70
